The Medium GND filter has a transition between the dark and light areas that is halfway between the abruptly one provided by hard GNDs and the very gradual one provided by soft GNDs. It is recommended for images that feature buildings, mountains, and other small elements that protrude into the skyline.  (3 stops/ 0.9)

Mecorex GND filters have a developed gradual coating, therefore light (ultra-violet to near infrared) can evenly pass through the filter.
