The Light Dome III from Aputure, along with an updated dual-sided and foldable rapid release mechanism, reduces the setup time for its 16-sided, point source-softening circular softbox, giving professional, portrait-ready light to any session in seconds. The Light Dome III’s parabolic, hexadecanol construction is reinforced by 16 sturdy steel support rods that now snap into place with the downward press of its universally compatible Bowens Mount bracket, saving time on set. Its design also improves uniform light distribution, resulting in soft, even light on any topic. The modifier has a silver inside to enhance the output of the light source, as well as 1.5-stop and 2.5-stop front diffusers and a 40° cloth grid for further light shaping.
